JOHN DAVID GILLESPIE (Uncle Buck) Passed away peacefully on November 9, 2016 with his wife by his side, at the Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, at the age of 64 years. John was married to the love of his life and soulmate Debra. Loving father of Christine, Micheal and Will. Poppa of Ashlyn and Matthew. Predeceased by his parents William and Marion and is survived by his mother-in-law Muriel Peters and sister-in-law Janice (Marsh). Dear brother of Vern, Wilma (Jake), Fred, Alan (Vera), Ray (Marge), Don (Debbie) and Bill and predeceased by Joyce, Phyllis, Paul and Brian. John will be missed by many, including his best friends Ken and Teresa, also by his fur babies Gunner, Bebe, Molly, Callie and Maverick. Friends will be received at the STECKLEY- GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, 201 Minet's Point Road, Barrie, on Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, 374 Salem Rd., Barrie, on Monday, November 14th at 11:00 a.m. with one hour of visitation prior to the service.
