I just found this. I'm in shock to be honest. Carol became my manager after 2 years at Right Management. She was wonderful and so thoughtful. Leaving notes and treats at our desk. She really was a wonderful person.
So sorry for your loss Garrett, she talked about you at work all the time.

As Right Management colleagues, Carol and I never met in person however she never, not ever failed to resolve any issue I presented to her. Carol was such an extraordinary friend and colleague for almost 20 years (we started at Right on the same week).
Even more than her incredible ability to calmly solve even the most thorny problem, I will remember her wonderful smile, wit and good humour and how deeply she loved (and spoke about) her family and friends.

Carol was not only an AMAZING colleague, but she was also a great mentor, and I am so honored to call her my friend. I can't even count how many times she lifted my spirit up, and offered prayers for my loved ones.
I hope in some small way, it brings your family peace and comfort to know that I am praying for you all now (as she did for me). Carol's light, her joy, her strength, and her uplifting spirit will be carried on by all who knew her.

I am so sorry to learn of Carol's shocking and untimely passing. So young! I had the pleasure of working with her on several projects at Right Management. Carol was conscientious, hard working, and exquisitely reliable. Having said that, we were known to giggle while we worked too. She was witty, warm, and very brighta wise old soul with an impish sense of humour. I will always treasure my wonderful memories of Carol. To Garrett, Dale and the family: my deepest sympathies.

Some people come into our lives, enrich our days and we are never ever the same.
Carol was one of those people. She was generous and compassionate, authentic and gracious. She was not only a colleague but a friend and confidante who had the ability of making each day a bit brighter. And she could always make me smile her wonderful sense of humour and laughter were a gift I shall cherish always.

I never met you, but Carol talked about you a lot I was proud to call her a friend, and we worked closely together on many major projects. She was always so willing to help and just be there for you that many of us at Right Management are feeling as if part of us just disappeared too. I can only imagine the pain you must be going through, and hope you'll soon be focusing on the happy times you had together with this remarkable woman. You were the flower that was plucked too early. But then He plucks the most beautiful and the most vibrant first, and it is He who planted it there in first place.
Carol, I have so much to say to you and about you. We never met in person, we spoke about meeting up on my next trip to Toronto, I now only wish I could have made that possible sooner. You are no more between us. But you leave behind memories of warmth, care and support that you extended towards me during these last few months at Right, and for so many others whose lives you have touched. I pray that may your soul rest in eternal peace and that may your family find the strength and courage to bear and reconcile with their loss. Amen.

I had the pleasure of working with Carol for several years and in particular with a project for the Veterans Administration for Canada where she served as the overall project manager. Every interaction I had with Carol was always fun and spirited and I was always amazed at her steadfastness, attention to detail and her caring and thoughtful ways with her interactions with even the most stuffy "government group". I will miss her and the spirit she left with her Right colleagues will remain for quite a long time. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. May she rest in peace.

This is such a profound loss. Carol was a wonderful lady who I always enjoyed being with. I so looked forward to seeing her once a year at our annual business get together. I wished we had had more opportunities to visit. Through her wonderful husband Dale we learned about her family and her sisters and all the wonderful times you shared. Carol was fun and a great person to be with.
