Dear Mr. and Mrs. Caplan, Bradley was one of the most genuine, sweet, and gifted people I have ever
met. Thinking of you at this very sad time.

My deepest sympathies to Brad's family. May you find comfort and peace.
I went to Pauline Johnson, Buchan and Leacock with Brad. In high school, our paths didn't cross so much, but if they did, it was in the music department. (And I occasionally walked home with him when I had piano lessons at the corner of Davisbrook and Nortonville.) He was kind and friendly to everyone. I always admired him for having the guts to play guitar and sing in front of the whole school. To this day, whenever I hear Blue Rodeo or Crowded House I think of Brad.

I'm sorry I couldn't be there.
Brad was one of the first people I met in the "field" when I arrived from Calgary to 680News. Toronto was overwhelming. He was incredibly kind and funny and helpful. Generous with his time. And when I moved into political staffing, he was still kind and funny and helpful and generous - when a lot of people simply weren't.
Time gets in the way. Trying to keep in touch isn't enough. But I want you to know he made a huge difference, made a rough job less so. He faced every situation he was in with kindness and I will never forget it.

Words can never express a loss, let alone the loss of a great person. Brad, your smile and amazing kindness will always be fondly remembered. Rest well until we meet again.

Deeply saddened to hear of Brad's passing. He was an extremely talented, kind and generous person who was taken far too soon. I hold fond memories of our time in the Radio and Television Arts program at Stephen Leacock and subsequent co-op placement/employment at CityTV with classmates Natasha, Liz and Keith. Our paths had crossed many times since then and it was always been a pleasure reconnecting with him. Brad always had a way of picking up where we left off just like an old friend. My deepest sympathies are with you, the Caplan family. He will be missed.

Fond memories of Brad in the studio years ago. His demanour, style, honesty and commitment earned him a coveted co-op placement in the broadcast industry that lead to a successful career. My memories of Brad are strong, fueled by his wonderful character. Glad to have known him, sadly missed. R.I.P.

I remember training Brad on the the Live Trucks at CityTV. He was eager from the beginning and always had a positive attitude. He was always a pleasure to be around. He was genuine and a real team player. He was the kind of guy that wasn't simply looking out for himself. He was respectful and decent. He was also smart, funny and talented. He was a real person who worked hard but was not defined solely by his work. I wish that I had more time to be a friend of Brad's. I'm certain many of us feel that. He was like a younger brother to many of us. My heart goes out to him and his family and friends. He will be truly missed.
