There are tears in my eyes as I learn about Ivan's passing. He was one of my favourite customers at Urban Nature Store. He always made us smile and gave us a Werthers Candy. Our condolences to his wife and family.

We are saddened to hear of Ivan's passing. He was such a gentleman and would bring such great energy when entering a room. We will miss receiving our Werther's but will miss him even more.

Ivan was such a warm, sincere and genuine person. He saw the humour in almost everything but when he had to talk seriously it was straight from the heart and always calm and well thought out. A true gentleman. I knew him a long time and I never heard anyone say a bad word about him. A good life well lived. Thanks for everything Ivan. Steve Parish, Ajax, Ont.

So sad to hear of Ivan's passing. Will always remember Sunday morning hockey, Charity games and Vince Ryan trips with you fondly.

I am saddened to hear of Ivan's passing. He was a huge presence in any room and he could make people laugh. I worked at Ivan's hockey school at Seneca College in 1975. He helped me a lot. Good bye my friend.

Ivan was truly a gentleman with his booming laugh that could be heard all over Pickering Beach. He always greeted you with a handshake that concealed a mint. We will miss his visits to our garden to check out the latest project. I am sure we will hear his laugh from above.
