Dear Rosalie and family,
We're deeply saddened to hear of Jim's passing and wish to extend our most heartfelt condolences to you all.
My father had the good fortune of working closely with Jim for many years in Central Scouting...and was blessed to have him as a friend.
It is such a great loss and remains a very difficult time, but please know you're in our thoughts and prayers!
With Sincere Sympathy,
John Jr. and Marisol, Norm Timmins and family

To the Gregory Family - I'm so sorry to learn of this sad news on returning to Toronto last evening. I was such an admirer of Mr. Gregory and held him in the highest esteem. I enjoyed every moment that I had the privilege of sharing his company. Allen Eagleson (the younger...)

I remember Jim as a gentleman through my Jr hockey years and our times when we provided the transportation at the hockey Haven and then became shareholders at the Pinestone. Jim was always very good at managing people & knew how to work to get the best out of them without creating animosity. It was always a pleasure to meet you in Haliburton Rosalie. I know you & the family are going to miss him as will many of his associates. All the best to everyone

I remember Jim from many years ago when he cane to Moncton at the startup of New Brunswick Hawks Hockey. NB Hawks was a farm team owned by Chicago and Toronto. Jim visited many times to get the team "off the ground" and thereafter.
He was a fine man always making sure everyone was doing ok.
I was the club secretary at that time.
My deepest sympathy to the family and the hockey community.

I called your dad about a northern ontario former Blackhawk player from the 1940's who was having trouble. Your dad was all over it, not only knowing who the player was, but making sure he had a good end of life. He never went back on his word and wanted to see all succeed. Thanks Jimmy
ps..we'll miss the hugs
