One of the things I appreciated about Uncle Gordon was his faithfulness in phone calls, checking to see how I was doing.
I can still hear him and Aunt Tina singing the old hymn, Thanks to God for My Redeemer.
That song is even more special now.

My heart was sad to hear that Pastor Bickle is gone.....happy that he is with Jesus but sad that the world is without him. When I remember him the biggest thing that comes to mind was his kindness! He had a heart full of compassion and generosity toward people. He truly represented Jesus well! I can only imagine his reception when he got to Heaven!!

My condolences to all the family and those who will miss him terribly. May the Lord bring comfort to your hearts!

We loved Pastor Bickle. He was a precious servant of the Lord and all the people at Thistletown Baptist Church loved him dearly. My mom, Lois Culp, spent many hours working with him and enjoying his company. He was always so gracious and caring......a true Pastor who loved the Lord. I remember him at our family home for our birthdays in late August enjoying a piece of homemade peach pie. I will miss sending him the annual Christmas card filled with all the news of the Culp and Champ family and the latest news about Thistletown. “Well done, good and faithful servant!”
