Bernice Ziegler

Bernice Helen (Nodeland) Ziegler July 4, 1930 June 3, 2007 It is with sadness that our family announces the passing of Bernice Helen (Nodeland) Ziegler. Mom was born July 4, 1930 to Ole and Lulla Nodeland on the family farm near Hagen. She passed away in Intensive Care at Saskatoon City Hospital June 3, 2007 with her family at her side. Mom was baptized, confirmed and married at Saron Lutheran Church. Bernice and Wilfred had five children and nine grandchildren. Left to remember her are Lorrie and Valerie Ziegler and their children Nathan (Andrea) and Cera, Lynne and Joseph Nastiuk and their son Christopher (Lynn and Justin), Brenda and her son Sean, Patricia and Tim Haugen and their children Michael, Colby, Nolan and Sophia; three sisters, Olive Manson, Lyla Dalen, and Judith Solsten; one brother, Harold Nodeland; numerous nieces, nephews and friends (especially those at Luther Tower). She was predeceased by Wilfred and their son, Michael; grandson, Jason; and her brother, Bertram Nodeland. A Service celebrating her life will be held Thursday June 7, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 323 4th Ave S., Saskatoon. Arrangements are entrusted to Fedusiak Funeral Chapel & Crematorium Ltd. of Melfort (752-3838) A mother and her children were walking one evening. The children looked up at the stars, fascinated but made no comment. "What are you thinking? " their mother asked and the reply came ... "If the bottom side of heaven is so beautiful, how wonderful the other side must be. " We love you Mom and miss you already!
