Daleen Kay Bosse

BOSSE - Daleen Kay Bosse (Muskego) was born on March 25, 1979 in Saskatoon to Herb and Pauline Muskego. She was taken suddenly on May 19, 2004. Daleen loved visiting her friends and relatives when she came to visit in Onion Lake. She would visit her grandmother, Eliza, to eat her soup and bannock. One of her passions was drama; the highlight of her acting career was when she played a role in Circle of Voices in 1999. Daleen married Jeremiah on August 14, 1999. She received her Business Administration Diploma in June 2000 at the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technology. She gave birth to her beautiful daughter, Faith, on January 15, 2001. Daleen was deeply saddened when she lost Tyson Paul prematurely in February 2004. She continued her education at the University of Saskatchewan and was enrolled in her fourth year at the Indian Teacher Education Program at the time of her disappearance on May 18, 2004. Her love of photography, art and drama were for the benefit of her future students. She was constantly thinking of how to better her life and to be able to help others any way that she could. Daleen was predeceased by: her infant son, Tyson (2004); and numerous relatives. Daleen is survived by: her husband, Jeremiah; her daughter, Faith; her parents, Herb and Pauline Muskego; her brothers, Dana Muskego and David (Martina) Muskego; her nephews, Shawn Campbell and Ethan Wagner; her niece Tylia Wagner; her sister-in-law Monica Bosse and her mother in law Heather Pocock; and numerous relatives. A Funeral Service was held on Monday, August 18, 2008 at the Onion Lake Communiplex, Onion Lake Cree Nation, SK with Pastor Martin Naistus and Pastor Jack Smith officiating. The pallbearers were Craig Lewis, Daniel Shingoose, Shaun Singer, Lauren Muskego, Harley Weenie and James Buffalo. Honorary bearers were All of Daleen's Friends. Interment followed in the Holy Rosary Cemetery.
