As the last of the firsts end today, today's the tuff one baby; a year ago today was the day God decided he needed you back - you had finished what he had sent you here to do. Although none of us were ready, I take comfort in knowing that we were all blessed to be part of God's final plan for you. You were an amazing man, husband, Dad & friend! I silently sit back and smile watching your 5 kids practicing what you taught them. You were such an inspiration to them, and I love hearing all the stories from them (yup even the ones where u said ya but don't tell your mom) They are all working so hard, and I know they struggle sometimes but you have taught them enough that they sit back on their own and ask themselves "what would Dan do?" They are doing their best and that's all you ever wanted them or anyone to do. Thank you for watching over them and keeping them safe and guiding them in their journeys. Your Granddaughters (yes still only 3 grandkids) are growing up so fast and of course are amazing. Jersey girl started kindergarten this year (you would have been scared letting her go) Kasey's (little Miss mischievous one) started gymnastics and loves it, and lastly little Miss Skyler, she would have you wrapped around her pinky x2. She's is a doll! Papa Dan, their own life-long personal guardian angel!
