WEIR _Donald Charles. It is with great sadness the family announce Donald Charles Weir passed away peacefully Friday, December 12, 2003 at Biggar Hospital, at the age of 84. He is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Gwen and their children, Terry, Chris (Debbie), Shane (Cheong); and grandchildren, Christopher, Justin, Cory, Matthew; sisters, Evelyn, Bessie, Bev (Bill); brothers, Cameron (Blanche), Harvey (Helen), Cholar (Thirza); and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother, Harry; sister, Edna; and his mother and father, Fred and Erma. Donald was a partner in F.D. Weir & Sons Hardware and Cam-Don Motors and leader of the Perdue and District Community. Don's love and commitment to his family and community was evident to all; we will continue to live by the lessons he taught and cherish his memory. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. in the Perdue Community Complex. Arrangements are in care of Grondin Funeral Services Ltd. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to Saskatchewan Parkinson's Disease Foundation, Saskatoon.
