Elsie Kienlen

KIENLEN -Elsie was born March 25, 1906 at Fone Hill, SK and passed away peacefully at Manitou Lodge on June 22, 2006, at the age of 100 years and three months. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Edna Farago and husband, Leslie; grand-daughters, Donita (Ken Scaffel) of Regina, Darlene (Garnet Martin) of Watrous and Lorna (Brad Habermehl) of Watrous. Also her greatgrandchildren: Mark (Tammy) Schaffel of Calgary, AB, Dallas (Candace) Schaffel of Tabor, AB, Lesley Martin (fiance Mathieu Kelly) of Warburg, AB, Derek Martin (Meghan Kowalyk) and Lindsay Martin of Watrous, Kim Habermehl of Saskatoon and Kris Habermehl of Grand Prairie, AB; five great-great grandchildren: Jaiden and Devin Schaffel, Ariana and Kieron Schaffel and Danyka Martin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John Kienlen in 1990 and her son, Alfred in 1994; as well as her parents: John and Julia Griffith; sister, Harriet Hicks; stepbrothers: John Cowan and Tom Cowan; and stepsister, Edna Cowan. The Vigil of Prayer will be held on Friday, June 23rd at 7:30 p.m. and the Mass of The Christian Burial on Saturday, June 24th at 11 a.m. both will be held in St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Watrous, SK with Rev. Father Rheal Bussiere officiating. Interment will follow in Watrous Cemetery. For those so wishing donations may be made to Manitou Lodge, Watrous, SK.
