GORDON BELFOUR Memoriam
Picture this in a valley with Cascading Hills and an old winding dirt road on a large hill, the skies filled with geese returning from the south, the snow melted, the sun shining, the green grass is beginning to show. It's now early spring, a young couple stands here and shares this breathtaking view before they say "I do."
53 Years ago, April 24, 1959, a young couple stands up to say "I do."
They are introduced as "Mr. & Mrs. Gordon and Rose Belfour."
As they set out on their journey they had big plans, big dreams. Life gave them a twist and presented them with 4 children very close together.
Just after 23 years of marriage, Rose Belfour passed away July 28, 1982, leaving Gordon in total despair.
Gordons' life took many turns after Rose passed. I don't believe Gordon ever got over losing Rose.
Then, on February 13, 2009, Gordon passed away, a perfect time to reclaim his only Valentine.
After 27 years apart, now they're together again.
The greatest people I ever knew. Love you and miss you both more than any words can say.
