Gordon Albert Belfour May 2, 1940 February 13, 2009 Hello Dad! We miss you. You weren't a singer, yet you sang. You weren't a poet, yet you could recite poems that have faded from most memories. You were an old dog that had to learn new tricks because of your courageous battle with cancer. You endured much at the end and we cherished all the time we had. All the little ones in the family still ask, where is grandpa that sang, recited and told all those stories about the days before colored t.v. We have lost something that can never be replaced only remembered fondly every day and be glad that you were our dad. We hope you met mom up there because we know she was waiting for you. Just remember that we all love you both and that the footprints in the sand are not always God's. Your son's Albert, Roger and Gordon Jr. and their families.
