Rose Belfour Memoriam

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 28, 2007.
In Memory of Rose Belfour Dear Mom: 25 Years, Where have they gone, Yes, 25 years of seasons have come and gone, Somewhere at the bottom of the distant rolling hills lies a dugout. Sitting alone by the shore is a young man, as he gazes at the cattle and horses grazing in the meadow, the sun beats down and casts a mirror type of a reflection on the water. In this peaceful place away from the rest of the world the young man's mind drifts away. Thinking of his mother, the young man can't help remembering 25 years of seasons passing by since his mother's untimely death. At times it seems as though it was only yesterday. When thinking of his mother, the man remembers she was a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. Yet 25 years of seasons have come and gone, it's hard to believe. We as people take too many things for granted like the smile upon your face, the laughter in your voice, the twinkle in your eye. Some of the things I miss most like the soft touch of your motherly hand or the little things you did for each of us. The food prepared for us, but most importantly the love in your heart. Mom, you always seemed to be able to handle anything that came your way. Mom you were a motivator, an inspiration to all who knew you. You gave of yourself unselfishly, you were a gem, a true work of art. There are no words that can truly describe how good you really were. Yet 25 years of seasons have gone by since that tragic day, July 28, 1982. Yes, it's hard to believe 25 years of seasons have gone by since you left and last spoke to us. Many things have changed. I'm writing this in memory of you Mom, because we still love you and miss you lots. From the family that loves you and lost you. Gordon, Albert, Roger, Cameron and Gordon Jr. and all their families. Written by your 3rd son with love.

Yes, she was an incredible woman. I cannot believe it has been 25 years. My regards to your families.
