Henry DOELL Obituary
April 17, 1938 – May 21, 2015
It is with sad hearts we announce the passing of Henry Doell – also known as Jerry Doell the artist and Hank the musician. He slipped away peacefully to his heavenly home surrounded by family and the music he loved so much. He leaves to mourn: his beloved wife Evelyn; children Andrea (Preston), Cara (Andrew), Matthew (Naoko) and Aaron (Laura); and grandchildren Matthew, Lyndsey, Joseph, Sarah, Emily, Van, Bo and Noah. Also his daughter Marina; grandchildren Stephanie (J.R.) and Trey; great-grandchildren Kira, Nicole and Alyssa; brothers and sisters John, Abe (Margaret), Anne, Sue, Pete (Trudy), Neil (Lorraine) and Art (Karen); and sister-in-law Dale. Predeceased by his parents John and Helena Doell, brother Jake and sister Helen, brother-in-law Jerry Therrien, sister-in-law Sonia Doell, and granddaughter Katie Mei Doell. He loved his family deeply; each member held a very special place in his heart. He touched so many lives with his musical and artistic talents and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Funeral Service to be held at Gruenthal Church in Gruenthal on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Gruenthal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Palliative Care Unit at St. Paul's Hospital. Arrangements in care of MARTENS WARMAN FUNERAL HOME (306-934-4888).

I Am Sorry To Hear About Henry's Passing I Knew Him As Hank The Musician & He Was Talented For Sure. I Had No Idea That Henry Was An Artist But I Enjoyed His Music This Is How I Remember Him. My Condolenses Go Out To His Wife Children & Grandchildren.I Know That Henry Will Be Missed By Everybody Who Knew Him.

Indeed, a wonderful talent is ringing through the ramparts of Glory at this very hour. A gifted friend a brother sadly missed by so many.
Brother Hank was my dad's cousin and they're now in fellowship once again together. My condolences to the family and extended family/Body of Christ.

Jerry was my dad's cousin and I would often hear that artistic abilities must run in the Doell genes. Jerry was always such a gentleman when I met him at an art show. I was proud to call him a relative. He will be missed .

It is with mixed emotions we say good bye to such a long time friend and sweet man!
Him , his wife Ev and kids stayed in my parents (Harold & Marlene Hildebrandt) home many times while in town at a local mall...selling his beautiful paintings. After a long day, he'd come back to our place and usually pull out the guitar and we sat around and sang. He was a very gifted musician, song writer and vocalist! He never flaunted or boasted of his God given talents, but was very humble and used them all extremely well & for Gods glory!
Our condolences to Ev, his children and his siblings he has left behind. May the circle be unbroken on 'that' day.

I offer my sincerest sympathy to aunt Evelynn and family. Uncle Hank was an integral thread woven into the fabric of all our lives. He filled our hearts with his music and artistic talents. His departure will surely leave us feeling unraveled. It is not for him my heart pains but for all his loved ones left behind. I do believe he is in a better place. I trust God will fill the void in your hearts with precious memories in the days to follow.
