Very sorry to learn of Ed's passing. I worked with Ed on various jobs, as well as the Century Mechanical fabrication shop in Saskatoon in the late 70's. He was a great guy to work with. He always had a pleasant mood and a easy smile. Great guy!

I was not able to attend the funeral as I was done east however I would like to share my memories of Ed. Ed was a great guy; a devoted dad, husband and solid friend. The year I coached ball with Ed was the most fun, we worked well together and had a lot of fun and success. I think our kids will always remember our trip to Regina..... The legacy he leaves are the qualities instilled in his children through how he lived his own life. May you rest in peace my dear friend - get the diamond ready; I'll see you later.

Phyllis and family please accept our deepest sympathy on your loss of Ed. We have had the honour of knowing Ed for many years, mostly through our Union connection. He was a dedicated Union Brother all of the years that I knew him, with his failing health and moving to Aberta we did not keep in touch as much as i would have liked but he always remained a long time close freind even without us regularly getting together. RIP Ed, you will be missed.

On behalf of the entire membership of Sheet Metal Workers Local 296 Saskatchewan, I wish to send condolences to the Kurysh family.
Ed was a past President of our local union and his guidance and leadership are not forgotten. As a young man I also spent some time as a Sheet Metal Apprentice under Ed and that experience helped me become the Sheet Metal Worker I am today, Thanks Ed.
