Barbara Jean Snodgrass Wilson

Sylacauga - Barbara Jean Snodgrass Wilson, age 83, of Sylacauga, Alabama peacefully passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, surrounded by loved ones.

Barbara was born November 17, 1937, to Edith (Benjamin) Keeley and Marian Snodgrass in the city of Muncie, Indiana.

In 1954, she met William Howard Wilson. Barbara and Howard went on to have four children; Bob, Allen, Janie, and Michael.

After graduation, she became a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 15 years. Barbara was passionate about nursing and loved what she did for a living.

Barbara retired as a Registered Nurse in 2007 after 45 years in the field. While retired, she loved spending time with her multiple dogs; Co-Co, Bo, and Tater.

Barbara was preceded by her husband Howard Wilson, her parents; Edith and Benjamin Keeley, and her sibling Helen Browning. She is survived by her brother Bennie (Jane) Keeley; her sister Faye Walker; her children Allen (Dale) Wilson, Jane (Donnie) Hamm, and Michael Wilson. She also leaves 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren to cherish her memory.

Services will be held in Muncie, Indiana and announced at a later date.
