Laurin's aunt, Jennie, shared a link to Laurin's blog via FB. It was a honor to read it as she shared her journey, courage, and joy for life, and an honor to pray for her and her family. Only saw Laurin and Mike in person once, and that was at the wedding of her cousin Rachel to Donovan at the church I attend. They had a glowing love about them that lit up the town that day, and I know it is a special memory among many that her family will cherish.

There was nothing sweeter than Laurin's giggle. I will Always admire her zest for life and adventure. Laurin had a spirit about her that few possess. Watching the love grow between her and Mike was inspiring to all. Although I'm confident that she is still among us in spirit, cheering us on to celebrate the simple treasures life gives us with each day. I can't help but feel sad that she was taken too soon. You will be missed by many polka dot queen! And to Mike and the entire family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
