Lin Whitney Coleman

Lin Whitney Coleman HOUSTON, Texas - Lin Whitney Coleman, died July 8, 2016, in Houston, Texas. He was born September 19, 1955, to the late Fruntis and Henrietta Lesane Coleman. He graduated from Ridge Spring Monetta High School in 1973, then went on to attend the University of the South where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering. Lin enjoyed traveling, playing and listening to music, and was an avid car enthusiast. He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Gloria Ransom Coleman of Columbia, SC. He also leaves two nieces, Carmen Coleman Abernathy of Charlotte, NC, and Allycia Lois Coleman of Columbia, SC; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 30th at The Potter's Christian Life Center in Columbia with Pastor Greg Formey, officiating.
