I've been all over this world it seems & I've never known anyone as nice , gentle , honest , smart , dedicated , and loving as you where & still are to me , & my family . After all , cancer may have ruined your body , which is gone now , but it never ruined your spirit , which is still with us . I love & miss you Bill . I know that we will all be together soon enough with God in his beautiful kingdom , until then , I just wanted to say "thank you" for being a great dad to me & my brother , a wonderful husband to our mom , & being the best grand-dad ever to our children . We will all have nothing but the fondest memories of you ! We all love & miss you very much Bill Anderson !!!

Bill was my great friend for the past 18 years. I worked with him over the years, often typing reports such as Architectural Assessments for the national Heritage Preservation. He loved each of his projects and was most respectful of the individuals who worked to celebrate and keep alive the heritage of all areas in the state of SC. His work was thorough and meticulously detailed to provide the most correct information and perspective for each museum. He taught me much about architecture and how to appreciate South Carolina's rich history. I never heard him disparage anyone, criticize or complain, and the only annoyance he ever displayed was when people talked on their cell phones during meetings with him. He was kind, thoughtful, and was never happier than when telling a story, which came from his exceptional memory and amusement of life. He adored his wife, Kay, and loved his family and large collection of friends.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord. And let light perpetual shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of the faithful departed, rest in peace. Amen. I pray that God will comfort his family and give them strength during this time of loss.
