Robert Sprossel ELGIN - A memorial service to honor the life of Robert Leon Sprossal, Sr., 78, of Elgin, SC, will be held as a part of the regular Sunday service at 11:00 a.m. August 21, 2016, at Shepherd's Church of the Nazarene, 119 Ball Park Road, Lexington, SC 29072. Memorials may be made to the church in Robert's memory. Robert, beloved husband of Kathleen Sprossel, died Wednesday, August 17, 2016. He was born in Dover Plains, NY, a son of the late Otto Sprossel and Mabel Summers Sprossel. Robert proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and was a skilled mason for all of his working life. Robert is survived by his wife Katy; daughter, Jenny Larmore of New York; son, Robert Sprossel Jr. and wife, Noushin, of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Ralph III and Stephanie Larmore, and Sean and Alex Sprossel; brothers, Otto, William, Carl and Thomas; and sisters, Cindy and Anne.
