Diana (Derrig) Behn Notice
Diana D. (Derrig) Behn, age 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. She was the daughter of the late John Derrig and Dorothy (Martin) McIlwaine

Diana was born on May 5, 1943 in New Brunswick, NJ. She was a graduate of Scared Heart High School in Fall River and attended Salve Regina University. She was a homemaker as well as a small business owner of the Henry Studio in Holliston. She married her late husband Barry Nelson Behn on June 1, 1963 at the Unitarian - Universalist Church in Fairhaven. She was a Foxborough resident for fifty years and enjoyed spending winters in Venice, FL with her late husband and enjoyed their many friends there.
Diana was a long-time member of the Foxboro Jaycees and was a Chairwoman for both the Miss Foxborough and Miss America Pageants. She was very active in her children's school activities and sporting events. She was an avid traveler, reader, bowler and played bridge competitively. She also enjoyed music and theater. She most enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Devoted mother of Eric Behn and his wife Elise of NJ, Sarah Behn of Foxborough and the late Adam Behn. Loving grandmother of Jack, Joe, Ted and Grace McGahan and Barry Nelson Behn II. Sister of Deborah Maguire and her husband Liam of Falmouth and the late Jack Derrig and Paula Derrig. Sister-in-law of Dante and Jude Balestracci of Mashpee and Richard and Karen Leblanc of New Bedford. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, February 16 from 1 PM to 4 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 10 AM at the Unitarian-Universalist Church, 6 Bird Street, Foxborough. Interment to follow at Rock Hill Cemetery.
