HOLLEY, KATHLEEN McKEONE, 86, of Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. Kathleen was born June 15, 1934 in the Town of Kingscourt, County Cavan (Ulster Province) in Ireland. Kathleen lost her parents Thomas and Margaret (Hand) while she was very young and then was raised by her Aunt Molly.
In her mid-teens, Kathleen moved to Dublin to work as a live-in domestic servant. She next moved to London where she met her husband, Sean Holley, from County Limerick, Ireland, marrying in 1956. Kathleen gave birth to her first son, John, in 1957, and the family of three emigrated to America in 1958. She initially lived in Pawtucket, RI and then Attleboro, MA in the house on Florence Street where she lovingly raised her children and lived the rest of her days. Kathleen liked the simple life and appreciated quiet peaceful days drinking tea in her backyard while enjoying the sunshine and natures curious beauty. She leaves behind her sons Steven Holley of Attleboro and Kevin Holley and his wife, Kay, of North Attleboro, and cherished grandchildren Shannon, Erin, Shaun, and Steven. Kathleens husband, Sean, passed in 2012, and her oldest son, John, predeceased her in 1975. She was the dear sister of Nicholas, James, Thomas, Rose, Mary, and Anna. Funeral arrangements are private.
