Beloved wife of James; mother of three (Michelle Landry of North Attleboro, MA, Michael St. Peter of Traverse City, MI, and Elizabeth Owens of St. Louis, MO); grandmother to 15; and sister to Mark Sticca of Springfield, MA, and Rita Mei of E. Longmeadow, MA (deceased); Luisa passed away December 19, 2020 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. She was 76 years old at the time of her passing.
Born October 17, 1944 in Spoleto, Italy to the late Thomas and Alba Sticca, Luisa and her family immigrated to the United States when she was 13 years old. She was a graduate of Commerce H.S. in Springfield and her vocation was dress design and sewing.
Her eye for beauty, her boundless energy, and her special creativity assured a career-long demand for her skills throughout the bridal industry. Her final position of employment was as designer and head seamstress for the Bridal and Gift Shop in Attleboro, MA.
A private memorial service will be held at Plainville Baptist Church in Plainville, MA, on January 2, 2021, Pastor David Meunier presiding.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Luisa's name to the Cam Neely Foundation, 30 Winter St., 2nd Floor, Boston, MA 02108. The Neely is a worthy foundation that has provided support and accommodations for leukemia patients and their families for many years.
