Robert Matthew Harris, 58, of Attleboro, MA, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.
Born on June 1, 1962 in Attleboro, MA, he was the son of Lillian Florence (Roy) Harris of North Attleboro, MA, and the late Walter Ellsworth Harris.
Robert lived most of his life in Attleboro and was a graduate of Tri-County Regional Vocational High School in Franklin, MA. Robert proudly worked as a Master Plumber for Millis Plumbing for thirty years before retiring in 2010. He was a former member of St. Stephen's Church in Attleboro and Sacred Heart Church in North Attleboro.
Robert had a heart of gold, always quick to lend a hand to anyone in need. He genuinely enjoyed his work, almost as much as he did a good day of fishing. He held a special place in his heart for dogs, most especially his Boxers. More than anything, the center of Robert's world was his family: his beloved children and his treasured grandson.
In addition to his mother, Lillian, Robert leaves his loving children: Joshua Robert Harris and his fiancée, Sydney Heron, of Wrentham, MA; Justin N. Harris and his companion, Jaime Canada, of Royal Oak, MI; and Jared A. Harris of Wakefield, MA. He was the proud and adoring grandfather of Julian S. Harris. Robert was the brother of Joseph Harris and his wife, Barbara, of North Attleboro and Florida, and the late Dian Mary Foster. He leaves his Godson, Kevin Paul Foster and his wife, Jennifer L. Foster, of Attleboro, MA; several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. He was predeceased in March 2019 by his dear best friend, Steven M. Skeldon Sr.
