Roger Donald Carriere
1935 - 2020
Roger Donald Carriere passed away peacefully on December 27, 2020 in West Yarmouth, Massachusetts at the age of 85. Roger was born on November 27, 1935 in North Attleboro, Massachusetts to Joseph and Blanche Carriere. Roger is preceded in passing by his wife of over 50 years, Marilyn, and his mother and father.

Roger grew up in North Attleboro and attended North Attleboro High School, where he was co-captain of the football team and where he met his future wife, Marilyn Gosselin. Roger and Marilyn married in 1957 and had three daughters, Suzanne, Stacy and Amy. The family enjoyed time together at Lake Pearl and Cape Cod. Roger is remembered by his friends and family as a kind, caring man.

Roger attended Wentworth University to study engineering and had a successful career with the Raytheon Corporation for over thirty years. He led many large defense projects and was highly regarded by his company and peers. After retiring, he spent time in Arizona and California to be closer to his daughters and play golf year-round. His other passion was football and he loved watching his favorite team, the New England Patriots.

He is survived by his daughters and their husbands; Suzanne (Richard) Kimble of La Quinta, California, Stacy (Norm) Breedlove of Oxnard, California, and Amy (Gaurav) Suri of Los Altos, California, five grandchildren; Steven Pizzella, Jessica Pizzella, Matthew Suri, Andrew Suri and Brook Breedlove, his siblings; Terry (Carriere) Apicella of Milford, CT; Jeannette (Carriere) Scarlatelli of South Yarmouth, MA; and Jerry Carriere and wife Warene, of Lamoine, ME. He also has many nieces and nephews who will miss him. He cherished his family.
