LESLIE BLOW
COLLINSVILLE — Leslie Ann Blow, 47, of Collinsville, went to her home in Heaven at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville. She was born June 3, 1967, in Granite City, Ill., the daughter of the late Armel Clacy Allen Jr. and Carol J. (Taff) Allen. She married David Blow August 30, 1991. He survives. Also surviving are three children: David M. Blow, Samantha J. Blow and Grace C. Blow, all of Collinsville; two sisters: Laura (Daren) Carstens of Collinsville and Lisa (Steven) Crabb of Maryville; and two brothers: Shannon S. Allen of Washington and Shawn A. Allen of Boonesville, Mo.
Leslie worked for a short time as a preschool teacher at Enjoy Church.
She was a member of Enjoy church for thirty years, faithfully served in the children's ministry and volunteered where ever she was needed. Leslie took the message of God's love to everyone she met. She was a devoted wife, an incredible mother to her three children, and never missed an opportunity to reach out to anyone who needed help, whether neighbor, friend or stranger. Her love for people was contagious and her sense of humor will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
There will be a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 6 p.m., Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at Enjoy Church with Rev. Daren Carstens officiating.
