Eugene Corcoran, 83, of Linwood, N.J., passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his family June 3, 2018. Gene was born on April 1, 1935, in Minooka, Scranton, Pa., to Michael and Anna (Ruane) Corcoran. He was a graduate of South Catholic High School and the University of Scranton. Gene was also enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving with the Mosquito 6147 Tac. Con. GP. in the Korean War. In 1966, he married his beloved wife, Judith Krizauskas, and spent 52 wonderful years with her and their family. For 33 years, he worked as an accounting manager for the Lenox China Corp. Throughout his life, Gene loved to travel the world with Judy, making trips to places such as Hawaii, Mexico, the Caribbean and Ireland. He was also an active member of his community, being a charter member of the Egg Harbor Twp. Elks Lodge 2563 and serving as post quartermasters of both the Korean Wars Vets 234 of Atlantic County and the Amvets Post 911 of Somers Point. In addition to that, Gene was a member of the VFW Post 2189 and the American Legion Post 352 of Somers Point.

Eugene was especially proud of his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Judith; daughter, Michele (Joseph) Quinlan; son, David (Lucy) Corcoran; and daughter, Patricia (Dino) DiBiaso; along with his five grandchildren, Joseph and Michael Quinlan, and Geena, Caitlin and Anthony DiBiaso. He will also be missed dearly by his extended family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Gene will be held Friday, June 8, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church in Linwood, N.J., with a viewing beginning at 10 a.m. The burial will follow at Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery.
