Jennie B. Corbo, 98, West Scranton, died Tuesday at home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Corbo, in 1999.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Romeo and Anna Napolitano Schiappa, she was a graduate of Scranton Central High School and was a member of St. Patrick's Church, West Scranton. Before retirement, Jennie was employed at the Globe Store and enjoyed doing oil painting.

Surviving are two daughters, Lucille Corbo, West Scranton; and Gloria Davidow and husband, Laurence, Clarks Green; and nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Schiappa; and two brothers, Gene and Neil Schiappa.

The funeral will be Friday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church, 1403 Jackson St., West Scranton. Interment in St. Catherine's Cemetery, Moscow.

Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
