Joseph P. Warnetsky Jr., 77, of Archbald, died Sunday, Jan. 7, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Patricia Merrigan Warnetsky, married for 51 years.

Joseph was born in Carbondale, Pa., on Aug. 30, 1940, a son of the late Joseph and Martha (Brojack) Warnetsky. He was a member of Christ the King Parish, Archbald and was a retired machine operator for Bowen Excavating. He was a member of Mr. Sportsman Hunting Club, Mr. Sportscar Racing Club and the 6 D's Hunting Club.

The family would like to thank all of the doctors who took care of him through all of his illnesses and the hospice staff of Home Health Care Professionals for the loving and compassionate care.

Joseph is survived by two daughters, Terri Fazio and her husband, David, Clifford Twp.; and Tricia Lorenzetti and companion, Jeff Krenitsky, Archbald; two sons, Joseph Warnetsky, of Archbald; and David Warnetsky and his companion, Ashley Terranella, Archbald; two sisters, Helen Munley, Archbald; and Carol Pastula and husband, Bill, Archbald; a brother, Paul Warnetsky, of Jessup; five grandchildren, Tara, Kaylee, David, Kayla, Bryce; several nieces and nephews; and Max, his faithful companion.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Bricker.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Archbald, to be celebrated by the Rev. Christopher Sahd, pastor.

Friends may call Saturday, 9 to 10 a.m., at the church. Arrangements by the Harrison Funeral Home, 374 N. Main St., Archbald.
