Josephine Dickey, 87, of Covington Twp., died Monday at her home after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Peter Dickey, who died March 10. The couple had celebrated 62 years of marriage.

Born Nov. 2, 1930, in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Kareiva) Ross. Josephine was a longtime member of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Moscow.

Surviving are her daughters, Rosemary Serena and husband, Rodney, of Spring Brook Twp.; Carol A. McAndrew and husband, Joseph, of Elkton, Md.; Marie Wirtemburg and husband, Edward "Skip" Wirtemburg, of Dunedin, Fla.; and Susan Kelley, of Roaring Brook Twp.; five grandchildren, Kevin Serena and wife, Ashley; Allan Serena and wife, Vanessa; Michele McAndrew, Daniel McAndrew and Sean Wirtemburg; two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Hannah; and her sister, Jeanne Ross, of Folly Beach, S.C.; her brother-in-law, Joseph Dickey and wife, Patricia; and her sisters-in-law, Helen Sheppard and Dolores Janowicz; and nieces and nephews.

Josephine was also preceded in death by her sister, Ann Marie Kozlovsky, and her brother, Frank Ross.

A Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Church St., Moscow. Interment and committal will be conducted at St. Catherines Cemetery, Covington Twp. Those attending are asked to go directly to the church.

Friends may call Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. in Duffy & Snowdon Funeral Home, 401 Church St., Moscow.
