Paul P. Locker, 80, of Scranton, died peacefully Monday at the Jewish Home of Eastern Pa., where he was a resident. He was the husband of Marlene (Fletcher) Locker. The couple celebrated 58 years of marriage.

Born Dec. 4, 1937, in Scranton, he was the son of the late Elmer and Isa (Longacre) Locker. Paul was educated in Scranton schools and was employed for nearly 50 years at Jaunty Textiles Composites of Scranton. Paul was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Scranton.

Paul was an avid Penn State fan and found his greatest joy spending time with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Paul P. Locker Jr., of Carbondale; Stephen G. Locker and wife, Tracey, of Scranton; Sandra J. Locker-Tippett and wife, Renee; and Tammi L. Locker, of Scranton; his grandchildren, Jen Bilsky; John Bilsky and wife, Kristen; Paul P. Locker III and wife, Megan Locker; Nicole Locker, Amber Locker, Aimee Locker, Stephen Locker Jr. and Josh Tippett; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Derek, Greyson, Andrew, Alexander, Bella and John; his sisters-in-law, Shirley Locker, Ethel Locker, Juanita Locker; and several nieces and nephews.

Shortly after he died, his daughter-in-law, Terrie, passed away.

Paul was also preceded in death by his brothers, Carl and wife, Frances; Robert, William and Kenneth Locker.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 10 a.m. in the Howard J. Snowdon Funeral Home, 1810 Sanderson Ave., Scranton, with the Rev. Kevin K. Locker, nephew of Paul, as officiating clergy. Interment will be conducted at Union Cemetery in Peckville.

Friends may call Thursday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
