Linda A. Hollenbeck, 68, of New Milford, Harford Twp., died Monday at Allied Services Hospice in Scranton. Her husband is Gary Hollenbeck. They had been married for 40 years.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late John and Eleanor Salai Nowacky. Before becoming ill, she was the voter registrar for Susquehanna County for 28 years.

She loved going to her grandsons' baseball, basketball and soccer games. She also loved to go antiquing.

The family extends a special thank you to Allied Services Hospice doctors and nurses.

Also surviving are a son, Darin Bain and wife, Jackie, Brooklyn; a daughter, Nora M. Scheer and husband, Alex, Savannah, Ga.; two stepdaughters, Kimberly Cominsky, Royersford; and Jennifer Carey, Archbald; two grandsons, Hudson and Carter Bain, Brooklyn; and four stepgrandchildren, Leah and Tyler Cominsky, Royersford; and Ethan and Evan Carey, Archbald.

She was also predeceased by a sister, Brenda Familetti.

A blessing service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Charles H. Litwin Funeral Home, 91 State St., Nicholson, by the Rev. Arbogaste Satoun.

Friends may call Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time.

The family requests donations to the Cancer Center Nurses at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton.
