Jacqueline A. "Jackie" Connor Obituary

Jacqueline A. "Jackie" Connor, 73, of Carbondale, died Thursday at her daughter's home in Birdsboro. Her husband was the late Walter E. Connor.

Born in Carbondale, daughter of the late John J. and Jule Mang Rowe, she worked for many years at NBT Bank, Carbondale. Jackie was a 1964 Carbondale Benjamin Franklin graduate who enjoyed going to dinner with her '64 graduate girls. She was a former Red Hat Lady, who always dressed in matching outfits. Her four loves were God, her children, her grandchildren and her dog, Harley. She had a strong belief in God and had a long list of people she prayed for.

Surviving are a daughter, Colette Gabriel and husband, Gary, Birdsboro; two sons, Jeffrey Connor and Jonathan Connor, both of Carbondale; grandchildren, Garrett Connor and Gavin Connor, McKenzie Connor and Cameron Connor, Gaige Gabriel and Jackson Gabriel; former daughters-in-law, Melanie Connor and Tammy Connor; a brother, Martin Roe, Carbondale; sisters-in-law, Charlotte Connor, Carbondale, and Rose Marie Connor, Florida; cousin and best friend, Mary Lynn Rubano; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lawrence A. Gabriel Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 74 N. Main St., Carbondale. Masks and social distancing required. Due to present health guidelines, a wait time is expected. Those attending are asked to limit conversation so to allow timely visitation.

Mass of Christian Burial at St. Rose of Lima Church and interment at Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill, will be private. Online condolences may be sent to the funeral home website.
