Chester Walter Robachinski Obituary

Chester Walter Robachinski of Scott Twp., and Jackson, New Jersey, died peacefully Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020, at home in Jackson with his daughter and son-in-law at his side. His wife of 54 years, Lucy Ann Pacini Robachinski, predeceased him in March 2015.

Born in Glen Lyon, he was the son of the late Chester and JoHannah Robachinski. Chester loved hunting and fishing and was an avid sports fan, watching and rooting for the Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles and Sixers. He was a great bowler and participated in numerous bowling leagues. Chester was a lifelong dog lover and enjoyed being surrounded by his granddoggies, Moana, Remus and BiBi in Jackson. He was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Church, as well as St. Monica's Church in Jackson, N.J.

Surviving are a son, Chester Robachinski III and husband, Jerry Slipman, Washington; daughter, Donna Branco and husband, Dominick, New Jersey; stepgranddaughter, Gretchen Branco and husband, Brian, New York; stepgreat-grandchildren, Nicholas Branco, Leah Branco and Nate Branco, New Jersey; sister-in-law, Pauline Robachinski, Michigan; and sister-in-law, Louise Pettinato, Clarks Summit; sister-in-law, Ann Conniff, New Jersey; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by siblings, Raymond Robachinski, Glen Lyon; and Stanley Robachinski, Michigan.

The funeral will be conducted Wednesday, Nov. 25, from the Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home Inc., 1030 N. Main Ave., with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Snows Church, 301 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery.

Friends may call Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home.

Social distancing guidelines will be enforced and masks will be required.
