Patrick J. Marion Obituary

Patrick J. Marion, 68, of Archbald, passed away Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021, at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton. He was the husband of Lillian Jeanne Leonard Marion. They were together for 34 and celebrated 27 years of marriage.

Born Nov. 26, 1952, he was the son of the late Edward and Nan Ahern Marion. Pat attended Valley View High School, was a United States Army veteran and a member of Christ the King Parish, Archbald. Before his retirement, he was employed at St. Joseph's Center, Scranton, in the maintenance department.

Pat enjoyed listening to country music, camping adventures and taking cruise vacations with his lovely wife. He found great happiness being with his family and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle. He will sadly be missed at the family gatherings.

Besides his wife, Lillian Jeanne, surviving are children, Tammy Marion and companion, Nick Munley, Archbald; Patrick Marion Jr., Archbald; John Marion and wife, Kristin, Archbald; Tracy Naughton and wife, Jaime Lloyd, Greenwich, Conn.; Amy Naughton, Archbald; Kimberly and husband, James Gragg, Grovetown, Ga.; and Theresa Naughton, Archbald; brothers, Edward and wife, Sharon, Barefoot Bay, Fla.; Michael and wife, Debbie, Archbald; John and wife, Barbara, Archbald; sisters, Sister Maureen Marion, Franciscan Order; and Ann Marie Goldovich and husband, Richard, both of Archbald; grandchildren, Alexis Dewey, Noah and Noelle Dimattina, Kyle Gragg, Lily Jean Naughton, Nicholas Munley, Kyleigh Marion and Nathan Munley; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were a brother, Joseph Marion; and sister, Kathryn Cole.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 16, at Christ the King Parish, St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Archbald. Condolences at the church one hour prior. Donations may be made to St. Joseph's Center, 2010 Adams Ave., Scranton, PA 18509.
