Donna J. Crook Richards, Dalton, died Friday evening at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton. She was the wife of Kenneth Richards. The couple has been married for 64 years. Born in Clarks Summit, she was the daughter of the late Sterling Edward and Grace Rose Hedglin Crook Sr. Before her retirement, she was employed by Keystone College and worked previously at the University of Scranton. Donna enjoyed crafting and especially sewing show clothing for her grandchildren's horse shows. Also surviving are a son, J. Michael Richards and his wife, Alice, New Jersey; daughters, Susan Davis and her husband, Mark, Virginia; and Lisa Landsiedel and her husband, Roy, Dalton; sisters, Janice Kimbrough and Barbara Crook, both of Florida; and Sandra Davis, Avoca; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jacqueline S. Richards; and her brother, S. Edgar Crook. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in Newton Cemetery.
