Lenore Dougherty of Dunmore died Sunday at home. She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Dougherty, who died Aug. 13, 1978. Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Stephen A. and Mary McAndrew O'Connor, she was a graduate of Holy Rosary High School and Lackawanna Junior College. Before her retirement, she worked for the Internal Revenue Service. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, Dunmore. Surviving are a son, Stephen A. Dougherty, Spring Lake, N.J.; four daughters, Mary Dougherty, Spring Lake, N.J.; Ann Dougherty, Dunmore; Lenore Dougherty, Spring Lake, N.J.; and Marie Dougherty, Dunmore; five grandsons, Charles, Mathew, James, John and Michael Dougherty; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sally Dougherty; and two sons, John E. Dougherty and James Dougherty; three brothers, Thomas, Stephen and Joseph O'Connor; and four sisters, Regina Haggerty, Mary Corcoran, Ann O'Connor and Grace Murphy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church, 322 Chestnut St., Dunmore. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery. Arrangements, Albert P.
