Jacklyn Decaro, 69, of Scranton, died Monday at her home after a brief illness. Born Aug. 23, 1951, in Dover, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Berlin and Olive DeGroat Reed. Before her retirement, Jacklyn was employed in the restaurant and catering business. Jacklyn enjoyed spending time with her family, mostly her grandchildren. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys football fan. Jacklyn was a wonderful mother and loving grandmother. Surviving are her children, Francis Rixford and wife, Idesha, Hawley; Amanda Douglas and husband, James, Scranton; Joseph Rixford, Scranton; and Peggy Sue Rogers and fiancé, Anthony Rodriquez, Scranton; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-granchildren; her sisters, Cynthia Makin, New Jersey; Patricia Webber, Georgia; and Molly Francis, North Carolina; and nieces and nephews.
