WINTER Faith (née Ashe), of Puttenham, Guildford, on 5th February 2017, aged 89. Faith Winter, sculptor (public statues include Archbishop Abbott, Guildford High Street, Bomber Harris and Lord Dowding, The Strand London, General Sikorski, Portland Place, London and Sir Frank Whittle, Coventry). Beloved wife of the late Colonel Freddie Winter MBE, kindest mother to Martin (and Hilary), Alice and David and cherished grand-mother to Emily, Camilla, Edward, Freddie and Amelia. Funeral service at St John's Church, Puttenham, on 16th February at 1pm. Flowers welcome, or donations, if preferred, to Alzheimer's Society, c/o J Gorringe & Son, 55 Hare Lane, Farncombe, Godalming, Surrey, GU7 3EF.
