L. Ione Winters, 82, of Port Huron, died Tuesday, April 29, 2014.

She was born November 19, 1931 in Flint to the late Charles and Flossie Cotterman. She married Charles H. Winters on December 23, 1950 in Flint.

Mrs. Winters was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Marwood Manor for 15 years.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Charles "Corkey" Winters; two children, Jed (Paula) Winters and Sarah (Terry) Brandl; and four grandsons, Dylan and Arlo Brandl, Isaiah and Julius Winters.

Private services have been held in Lakeside Cemetery.

So sorry for your loss. I was an RN who worked with Ione at Marwood many years ago. She was a sweet, upbeat lady and I enjoyed knowing her.
