Bonnie K. Gordon-Hillman, age 60, passed away on Sunday April 6, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Port Huron after a three year long battle with cancer.

She was born on November 15, 1953 in Croswell a daughter of Billy and Geraldine (Springborn) Gordon.  Bonnie married Bernard M. Hillman on November 3, 1973 in Sandusky.

Bonnie held a Bachelors Degree in Nursing Arts and was a registered nurse at Mercy Hospital in Port Huron.  Bonnie was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Yale  and she also attended the Bethel Missionary Church  in Roseburg.  She was a member of the Black River Antique Tractor Club.  Bonnie loved to help her husband, Bernie run the family farm, especially running the combine.  She was an avid gardener and enjoyed having fresh spring  flowers  around the house.  Bonnie was a devoted wife, mother and she greatly enjoyed her six  grandchildren.  She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. 

Bonnie is survived by her husband Bernie Hillman, two sons Randy (Sheri) Hillman and Dale Hillman all of Yale, her parents Billy and Geraldine Gordon of Croswell, 6 grandchildren, Carrie Bechtel, Katie Hillman, Eric Hillman, Shannon Bechtel, Rebecca Hillman and Dustin Hillman. Her brother Cliff Gordon of Croswell and sister Peggy (Tim) Kmett of Kalkaska. Several Aunts and many nieces and nephews.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her father in law  and mother in law Howard and Helena Hillman and a sister in law Connie Gordon.

Visitation will be from 2-9 on Wednesday at the Pomeroy Funeral Home in Croswell.  Funeral services will be held at 11 A. M. on Thursday at the funeral home, with visiting from 10-11 on Thursday.  Rev. Brent Kreisch will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Fremont Cemetery.

Memorials in memory of Bonnie may be made to the Bethel Missionary Church.
