David Filbeck Obituary
Applegate - David H., 53, and Jennifer R., 51 of Applegate died unexpectedly Thursday, December 24, 2020 in their home.
They were married April 24, 1993 in Lexington.
Jennifer was born May 22, 1969 in Sandusky to John M. Hagan and Sharon S. Levitt.
Jennifer is survived by her mother Sharon Levitt of Port Huron; twin brother Jeffrey (Dawn) Hagan of East China; and a niece Jessica Hagan, as well as many extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, John.
David was born Nov. 20, 1967 in Port Huron to Dale J. and Joan E. (Kettlewell) Filbeck.
David is survived by his mother Joan Filbeck of Lexington; brothers Brian (Sue) of LA and Mark (Debbie) of Croswell; Nieces and nephews Stacey (Jason), Brandon (Lindsay) and Freya and Obin, as well as extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dale J., and brothers Paul and Dennis.
Both Dave and Jennifer enjoyed spending time outdoors with friends and family, making memories and sharing fun times over bonfires and beers. They lived a simple, quiet life, and had big hearts that shined through with everything they did. They enjoyed collecting a variety of things from classic metal signs, antiques, and family heirlooms, to barn cats and good friends.
No services are planned at this time. Inurnment will be in the Croswell Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Michigan Chapter of National Multiple Sclerosis Society, or Sanilac County Mental Health.
