Andrew Langolf Obituary
Kimball Township - Mr. Andrew Eugene Langolf, age 88, of Kimball Township, passed away on December 1, 2018. He was born on January 2, 1930, in Port Huron, to the late Andrew and Norma Langolf. Andrew married Charleen Marie Somogy on December 23, 1948 in Port Huron. Charleen passed away in 2015. He loved building and watching football and baseball. Andrew worked for London's Dairy and retired from Grand Trunk Western Railroad after 43 years. He was also an Elder at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Andrew is survived by his daughter, Charlyn (Ed) Breslin of Port Huron, son, Alan (Margaret) Langolf of Marysville, daughter, Charleen (Rick) Jach of Traverse City, grandchildren, Louis Bowers, Brett (Katie) Langolf, Dana (Jason) Graham, Rachel White and Kelly (Andrew) Deal, step-grandchildren, Patrick Grace III, Shawn Grace and Colleen (Luke) Stewart, 9 great-grandchildren, sisters, Joyce Brennan, Judy (Jerry) Bailey and Janet (Bob) Saunders, brother, Richard (Cindy) Langolf and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Shepherd. Memorial services will be 11:00am Monday, December 10, 2018, in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2761 Yeager Street, Port Huron. Minister Dan Brennan will officiate. Jowett Funeral Home is privileged to assist the family with arrangements. Memorial tributes may be made to the American Heart Association. My husband Rick and I are so sorry to hear of Mr. Langolf's passing. He was a very gentle and nice man. We serviced his furnace for a long time and will surely miss hearing his voice and kind remarks.
