William "Poppie" Anderson
Funeral services for William "Poppie" Anderson of Moreauville will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church of Moreauville beginning at 1pm. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013, at Escudé Funeral Home of Moreauville beginning at 4pm until 9pm. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Mausoleum of Moreauville.
William "Poppie" Anderson, age 80, passed away at Avoyelles Hospital on January 29, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Iner Lee Anderson, four brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Stella Anderson of Moreauville; daughter, Loretta A. Hampton (Robert P.) of Baton Rouge; son, William P. Anderson of Moreauville; son, John Tracy Anderson (Tina) of Mansura. He is also survived by one brother, Floyd Anderson (Carol) of Bunkie; three sisters, Octavia Lily, Lela Anderson and Willie Mae Fisher all of Los Angeles, California; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escudé Funeral Home.
