Lloyd L. Lewis Sr.

Funeral services will be held at New Scott Olly Baptist Church located at 2627 willow Glen River Rd. in Alexandria at 10 am on Saturday Nov. 24, 2012. The viewing will be at 8 am.

Lloyd L. Lewis Sr. was born Jan. 16, 1941 and departed this life Nov. 17, 2012 at Veterans Administrative Hospital in Pineville.

Born to General Taylor Lewis and Lee Wafer in Natchitoches.

His father, two brothers and one sister proceded him in death.

He accepted Christ and was under the leadership of Bishop Lynell Smith where he served faithfully at New Scott Olly Baptist Church.

He leaves to cherish his memories 7 children; 4 daughters; Janice Clark of, Texas, Shelia Lewis of Alexandria, Debra Lewis of Youngsville, Ruby Johnson of Georgia, 3 sons; Lloyd Lewis Jr. of Arizona, Anthony Johnson of Texas, Robert Johnson of Oklahoma. 12 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other realtives and friends.
