Delores Chrisler Kuhlmann
In Slidell, Louisiana on Wednesday, November 21, 2012, a beautiful life on earth ended to begin anew in heaven. Delores Kuhlmann, after eighty-three wonderful years, joins family who preceded her to the next life; husband, Dr. M. L. Kuhlmann, parents, Kenneth and Alma Austin Chrisler, and sister, Eileen C. Unglesby.
Mrs. Kuhlmann was a resident of Montgomery, Louisiana where she and Dr. Kuhlmann moved to begin his medical practice in 1950 and she remained until health issues required her stay in Slidell for the past two years. Delores enjoyed family, friends, love and laughter. If you loved her; she loved you back tenfold and you were blessed with her spirit and joy and given an opportunity to look at life in a bit more positive way.
Her pride in life was her three sons and their families with whom she made wonderful memories and left a legacy of a well-lived life.
Kenneth and Scottie, granddaughter Kelli, husband Chad Cardwell, and great-granddaughter Madeline.
Gerald Wayne and Janet, granddaughter Sundae, husband Heath Rachal, and great-grandchildren McKenzie and Madison, grandson Skye, wife Sabrina, and great-granddaughter Rayven.
Lee and Rhonda, grandsons Zak, wife Lauren, Jim, wife Hailey and great-granddaughter Hannah. She is also survived by a sister, Janet Rice.
Her sons and their families invite extended family and friends to join them as they remember and honor her life on Saturday, November 24, 2012, First United Methodist Church, Montgomery, Louisiana. Visitation from 10:00 am until service at 2:00 pm, under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. A family graveside service will take place at a later date.
Three generations of Chrisler and Kuhlmann families have been members and supporters of the Masonic and Shriners organizations.
