Helen Geneva Robinson
Helen Geneva Robinson, 73, died at 10:40 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2013, in a local care center.
Geneva was a native of Hineston, Louisiana, and lived in Sulphur since December 2010. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her sons, John L. Johnson and wife Teresita of Statham, Georgia, and Waymon D. Robinson, Jr. and wife Tellisa of Hineston, Louisiana; daughter, Ouida Mae Coleman and husband Mark of Sulphur; brother Donald Ray Burgin and wife Suzy; sister Polly Ann Gilmore and husband Gene; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Waymon D. Robinson, Sr.; daughters, Janita Kaye and Donna Faye Johnson; parents Louis and Pauline Burgin; and sister Francis Daigle.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home.
The Rev. Ron Fox will officiate. A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. in the Mt Moriah Baptist Church cemetery in Hineston, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Monday and from 8-10 a.m. Tuesday, all at the funeral home. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
