Funeral services for Mrs. Georgia B. Chesser will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 17, 2013 in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, Louisiana with Reverend Dustin Cameron officiating. Interment will be in Lone Pine Cemetery, Bentley, Louisiana, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, Louisiana.

Mrs. Chesser, age 100, of Bentley, entered eternal rest on Friday, June 14, 2013 at her residence.

She was looking forward to her 101st. birthday watermelon party. She was a lifelong resident of Bentley, Louisiana. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Dry Prong Assembly of God. She was well known in her community as a Prayer Warrior. She loved people. She is finally reunited with her prayer partner and husband, John.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Chesser; parents, George and Della Brister; one son, John H. Chesser; one daughter, Dorothy Bolton; three brothers, Rev. Frank Brister, Tom Brister and Johnny Brister; six sisters, Janie Radley, Ruby Morris, Ida Hanna, Mary Wallace, Rosie Jones and Altheia Brister.

She is survived by one son, Floyd Chesser of Bentley; three daughters, Thelma Loomis of Bentley, Ruby Duncan of Bentley, Jettie McKimmey (Joe) of Shawnee, Oklahoma; fourteen grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren and thirty two great great grandchildren.

Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville on Sunday, June 16, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday, June 17, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
