Pitkin - Funeral services for Mr. Henry Farley Cloud will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 9, 2021, at Occupy #1 Baptist Church, Pitkin, with Reverends Gary Hahler and A. J. Trosclair officiating. Interment will follow in Occupy #1 Cemetery, Pitkin, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.

Mr. Cloud, 88, of Pitkin, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, in his residence with his loving family by his side.

He lived a simple, full life filled with family, friends and lots of hard work. He enjoyed raising cattle, building and woodworking, and visiting with friends. He served his community on the Rapides Parish School Board for ten years, Ward Six Water Board, and Chairman of the Occupy #1 Cemetery Board for thirty-nine years. He was also a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Lettie Cloud; four sisters, Fannie McMullen, Jessie Montgomery, Thelma Willis and Margie Sigler; two nephews; and a niece.

Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his loving wife of fifty-eight years, Judy Cloud, of Pitkin; one daughter, Shelly Cloud Reiners, and her husband, Charles, of Branch; one brother, Marlin Cloud, of Pitkin; one sister, Melba Rasberry, of Pitkin; three grandchildren, Cole Reiners (Hillary), of Rayne, Clint Reiners, of Branch, and Jake Reiners, of Branch; and one great grandchild on the way.

A time of visitation will be held at Occupy #1 Baptist Church, Pitkin, on Friday,

April 9, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.

Pallbearers honored to serve are: Cole Reiners, Clint Reiners, Jake Reiners, Jeff Melder, Hudson Maricle, Jr., and Brady Cloud. Honorary pallbearers will be Elva "Shorty" Maricle, Johnny Willis, Ronnie Johnson, Oscar Cole and David Breaux.
